2. Liaise with EOR team on the performance of artificial lift pilots and ensure alignment with the gas lift automation project.
3. Coordinate with Petroleum Development to review latest reservoir test results and studies and investigate ways of improving production recovery through offline and online modeling for all fields.
4. Identify with Petroleum Development the use of downhole pressure, temperature, flow rate and downhole control valve to support the smart field philosophy in all fields.
5. Verify with Petroleum Development the performance of already installed downhole sensors and controls.
6. Advise on remote monitoring, control and surveillance tools required for reservoir management and the optimization of oil production, gas lift and gas injection.
7. Survey the market place for other available downhole sensors and controls and check their relevance and performance with share holders and other users.
8. Explore available techniques for well monitoring systems that predict online the production rate of wells and evaluate with Petroleum Development and Operations the performance of SHELL system tried in Bab.
9. Verify with Operations the performance of multiphase flow meters tried in the client for well testing and continue observing the performance of all multiphase meters for accuracy and repeatability of well testing.
10. Prepare blueprints, drawings, layouts and other visual aids to address requirements and indicate progress to management.
11. Work with NEB Petroleum Development team to complete the dynamic model of NEB field until it becomes functional and continue observing its performance.
12. Recommend to the management the way forward in dynamic modeling based on the experience with NEB model.
13. Explore and advise on techniques to optimize and automate the gas lift process utilizing online modeling.
14. Conduct surveys to gather field data.
15. Verify with Petroleum Development and Operations the performance of artificial lift pilots.
16. Cooperate with Petroleum Development to study and report on the current bottlenecks in the existing facilities and recommend on how to optimize production.
17. Advise on remote monitoring, control and surveillance tools required for optimization of oil production, gas lift and gas injection.
18. Prepare blueprints, drawings, layouts and other visual aids to address requirements and indicate progress to management.
19. Review development plans and procedures for compliance with adopted engineering standards and good engineering practices.
20. Provide advice and support to Operations and Petroleum Development when asked for.
21. Analyze designs and make recommendations for changes or modifications.
22. Understand and ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations and quality standards of the company.
