Senior Mechanical Designer
Our Client is currently seeking to employ an experienced Machine Tool Designer.
The role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing fully operational precision grinding machine tools from the ground up (concept through to production).
Skills required:
•  Experience with AutoDesk Inventor 3D modelling CAD system
•  Production of detailed component and assembly drawings
•  An understanding of FEA, FMEA and other analytical tools
•  Casting design and analysis, precision spindle design, etc
•  Knowledge of linear motor and torque motor technology would be an advantage
In addition to clear and effective communication, you must have the ability to effectively manage your time and workload.
Qualifications:
A good mechanical engineering degree.
Renumeration:
Negotiable depending upon experience.
