Electrical Fitter

Region:	UK
Location:	All over the UK based from home.
Reporting To:	Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Installation of MV/HV Substation Equipment
• Refurbishment of MV/HV Substation Equipment
• Maintenance of MV/HV Substation Equipment
• Installation Multicore cables and associated equipment
• Installation of Earthing and associated equipment

Education & Qualifications

• Recognised Apprenticeship
• City & Guilds - Engineering
• ONC - Mechanical Engineering preferable
• EITB - Training Certificate

Knowledge & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in the T & D Industry
• Minimum of 5 years as a electrical fitter
• Minimum of 5 years experience working for NGT or REC
• T&D Product Knowledge
• Knowledge of current H&S legislation including CDM advantageous
• Safety Passport training
• NGT Competent Person Training preferable
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Overseas experience advantageous
